Alignment-to-Execution Diagnostic
See where alignment and execution are breaking down—and where to act first.
When a critical priority or transformation loses momentum, leaders often see the symptoms differently. The Alignment-to-Execution Diagnostic creates a shared, evidence-informed view of what is getting in the way.
When this applies
-
Progress is slower or more uneven than expected.
-
Leaders have different explanations for the problem or compete over priorities.
-
Leadership alignment, execution and adoption are being addressed separately.

From competing explanations to a focused path forward.
-
A clear, evidence-informed view of exactly where progress is breaking down—and why.
-
Agreement on the priority decisions and actions requiring attention.
-
A focused 90-day action plan with clear ownership.
How the engagement works
Applied to one critical priority or transformation, the diagnostic examines nine execution conditions across Align Leadership, Enable Execution and Deliver Results. It combines existing evidence with confidential stakeholder perspectives to distinguish shared facts, divergent perceptions and untested assumptions.
1. Frame the priority
Clarify the ambition, expected business outcomes, current concerns and leadership questions that need to be resolved.
2. Locate the disconnects
Review existing evidence and focused stakeholder perspectives to identify the three disconnects most likely to slow progress across leadership alignment, execution and adoption.
3. Align on action
Facilitate an executive or leadership-team working session to challenge the findings, agree the priority decisions and define what must happen first.
Typical engagement
Typically two to three weeks, combining:
-
sponsor framing, focused evidence review and confidential stakeholder interviews;
-
a 3×3 Alignment-to-Execution heatmap pinpointing three key disconnects;
-
an executive or leadership-team findings and prioritisation session with focused 90-day action plan.
Every engagement is led directly by Marianne Fraiture and builds from the organisation's existing strategy, evidence and ways of working.
The Diagnostic can stand alone or serve as the starting point for targeted advisory, leadership alignment or activation support.
